妻、敬子の死は、僕自身に大きな変化をもたらしました。
何かこの僕に出来ることはないかと考えるようになりました。
そして今も、この本の売り上げや、みなさんのご協力やアドバイスを基に、
「ベティ基金（Betty Fund）」が設立出来ないものかと考えています。
そこでは
●彼女と同じ脳腫瘍をはじめ、重い病と闘うみなさんが、情報交換出来る場・機会を創り出し、
お互いに励まし合えれば。
●脳腫瘍という、今もなお未知の部分が多い領域の研究を支援出来れば。
●彼女と同じような年齢の女性はもちろん、多くのみなさんが、もっと健康に配慮出来る
きっかけ作りが出来れば。
●高度医療を受けるために必要な治療費を一時的に支援出来れば。
というようなことを考えています。
